About NYTGameHint
A focused hint tool for NYT Games players who want help — not spoilers.
What This Site Is
NYTGameHint is an independent helper site for players of NYT Games — including Connections, Wordle, Strands, Spelling Bee, and Sudoku. The goal is simple: give you just enough help to keep playing, without taking the puzzle away from you.
Every game page is structured around the same idea — hints first, answers only when you ask. You decide how much to reveal.
Why We Built It
Most hint sites either bury the answer in SEO padding or reveal everything immediately. We wanted something that respects how puzzles actually work: the moment of figuring it out yourself is the whole point. So hints here are written to point you in the right direction — not to shortcut the experience.
How Content Is Updated
Pages are updated daily to reflect each new puzzle. Depending on the game, each page includes some combination of:
- Spoiler-free hints designed to prompt — not tell
- Full answers or solution boards for when hints are not enough
- Short original analysis or observations where relevant
- An archive of past puzzles for players who want to look back
Editorial Standards
We check answers before publishing and correct errors as soon as they are reported. Hints are written to be directional without being definitive — the goal is to help you get unstuck, not to replace the puzzle. Analysis and commentary reflect our own interpretation and is not sourced from or endorsed by The New York Times.
If you spot a wrong answer or a misleading hint, please let us know. Correction reports are reviewed as a priority.
Not Affiliated with The New York Times
NYTGameHint is an independent, fan-made helper site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The New York Times Company. NYT, Wordle, Connections, Strands, Spelling Bee, and related names and marks are the property of their respective owners. This site exists to help players engage with those games — nothing more.
